IPAD Competition

Register and you are in the draw. Tell your friends about SMALLJOBS and for every friend who registers, you get another chance in the draw for an IPAD 3, or a cash equivalent. So the more friends, the more chances. Prize drawn on 7 December 2015 and winner notified by email.

Placing a listing

It is free to place a listing, as long as you are advertising for someone to carry out a task. Simply click on the “Place a Listing” box on the home page. You cannot place listings that offer commercial services.

Any responses you receive do not oblige you in any way to accept the responder's terms and conditions.

Your description of the task described in the listing does not represent a binding definition of the task, rather a broad indication of what is required. The final terms and conditions are to be negotiated between yourself and your preferred responder.

Apart from providing a service matching interested parties, SMALLJOBS has no role in any subsequent negotiations.

As a matter of courtesy, you should follow the following guidelines:

  • If you have found a responder that satisfies your requirements, you should use ACCOUNT>>LISTINGS to close your listing.

  • Respond to all replies and inquiries

  • Place feedback once the task has been completed

Responding to a listing

Anyone can respond to a listing, but you need to register first and have a New Zealand bank account. Simply click on the “Make $$$” box on the home page to be re-directed to the active listings page.

Once you see a listing you like, simply follow the link and then either add the listing to your watchlist, or respond to the listing.

By responding to a listing, you will be charged a small fee (see below) and then you will receive details via email on how to contact the lister Note that you might be one of several responders and it is up to the lister to decide the best candidate.

Responding to a listing does not bind or oblige the lister to automatically accept you to complete the task. The description of the task described in the listing does not represent a binding definition of the task, rather a broad indication of what is required. The final terms and conditions are to be negotiated between yourself and the lister.

Should the lister chose you to complete the task, this will be confirmed by email. The lister will have the option of providing feedback on how they rate your performance.

Searches

You can search through the SMALLJOBS listing by using the search feature view listings page, accessed via the home page and “MAKE $$$” box.

Here you can search by area, by major or minor task or by a keyword (e.g. dogs or lawn mowing).

You can save searches and when a listing is made that matches your criteria, you will receive an email alert.

Fees

Responding to a listing will cost $2.00 via the POLI internet banking tool. This will result in the lister being advised of your interest and contact details being forwarded to your email address.

If you have responded to three listings and not been successful, subsequent replies will be free until you are successful. Fair use policy applies.

Fees are generally not refundable, although if you feel that you have a case for a refund, email SMALLJOBS here admin@smalljobs.nz.

Feedback

Feedback is an important feature of SMALLJOBS, as it provides valuable information to help listers make a decision.

For listers: You can place feedback via the ACCOUNT>>LISTINGS path for those listings that have expired and received some responses.

For responders: once your task is completed, you will be notified by email of the feedback you have received. You will be able to view your overall feedback by following the ACCOUNT>>MY ACCOUNT>>VIEW PROFILE path.

If you observe the following: Offensive language

  • Listings that advertise commercial services

  • Spoof listings

  • Listings of a sexual nature, or advertise sexual services

You should use the REPORT button in the listings page to notify SMALLJOBS of any listing you think is offensive or breaks the rules.
